The Global Solo Challenge is a solo round-the-world sailing event starting in August 2027 from Vigo, Spain. Boats will depart in groups based on performance, creating competition as faster vessels chase slower ones. All boats compete together without classes, and the first to finish wins, with staggered departures accounting for performance differences.
